PART TIME E-BIKE TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: COSTA MESA, CA

ABOUT THE ROLE

Here, the term technician is defined carefully. A technician is not an engineer - your role will not be to sit at a computer and design as directed, operating only in the digital world. A technician is not a mechanic - your role will not be to turn wrenches as directed, working only within the world of your bench. Yet, a technician is both engineer AND mechanic - both brain AND brawn. A technician is relied upon to be the functional technical expert in a specific technology. A good technician walks the line between engineer and mechanic, and balances design proficiency with real-world knowledge. Typically, the right person for this role already thinks this way and only needs freedom to do what they do best.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone’s who is also a total nerd for electric bikes and PEVs (Personal Electric Vehicles). You have your own (maybe more than one), and work on it yourself.
